BACK TO JOBS

We regularly have job opportunities in our data management and analytics departments.

Areas: data analysts, data administrators, system administrators, program analysts, cartography, GIS

WHAT WE DO

  • Data Quality

We work to improve and/or ensure the quality level of data (timeliness, accuracy, coherence, accessibility, relevance and actionability), so that it is fit for its intended uses in planning, case management, the provision of direct services to beneficiaries, management of operations, decision-making and donor reporting. Responsibilities include level-one quality checks on data administered at the point of entry in each source system (completeness, precision), level-two checks after the point of entry (consistency problems) and level-three checks required when new values are created long after the initial creation of a transaction.

  • System Support

Functional support in the use of data management systems is an important factor influencing data quality. It is provided by the different specialist functions/métiers, ensuring that users enter data in accordance with the respective policies.

  • Analytics and Reporting

The data is used to support planning processes, operations, programmes, decision-making and donor reporting, reaping the benefits of timely and good-quality data. This includes the use of data from transactional systems (function-specific: in planning and implementing programmes, running support functions, managing métiers within organizational units) and transversal reporting on consolidated data (across functional areas: for donor reporting, maps (geographic information systems), organizational reporting, e.g. strategy dashboard, organizational or operational performance dashboard).
