Public communication
We build and maintain the ICRC’s public image through media relations, digital channels, joint communication with our International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement partners and crisis response. By ensuring clear and consistent communication, we strengthen trust in our organization and increase visibility and support for our humanitarian mission.
Corporate communication
We provide expertise in environmental scanning, reputation research, internal communication and editorial services. These insights help the organization make informed decisions and align around shared priorities, ensuring coherent and credible messaging.
Archives and information management
We preserve and organize the ICRC’s institutional knowledge, making it accessible to others. From library resources to photo archives, our work safeguards the organization’s collective memory and supports current operations, future planning and transparency.
Information and communication technology (ICT)
We manage the ICRC’s digital infrastructure, from IT operations to digital platforms and tools. Reliable and secure ICT ensures operational continuity, data protection and the ability to deliver humanitarian responses efficiently across the globe.
Please note that not all positions are open at all times.
Communication delegates
As a communication delegate, you will be at the heart of shaping how the ICRC is perceived in conflict-affected contexts. You analyse local perceptions and communication needs, design and implement strategies, and adapt them to national or regional realities.
Your work ensures that communities, authorities and key decision-makers understand and support our humanitarian action and respect international humanitarian law.
More than just strategy, your role is about building trust, enabling humanitarian access and giving a voice to people affected by armed conflict.
