ABOUT THE JOB

The ICRC Finance and Administration Working Unit seeks a competent Premises Manager to join our team in Dnipro. This Position manages the department in charge of ICRC premises and infrastructure within Dnipro Sub-delegation. The Premises Manager will provide support to other departments and premises users and interact with municipal authorities, landlords, suppliers, service providers, etc.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in determining accommodation and office-space needs and identify premises accordingly
• Analyze the set-up of premises, including the passive security measures in place, and propose corrective measures when necessary. Participate in establishing the lease agreement
• Coordinate proper maintenance of all premises and infrastructure
• Supervise the department in charge of managing premises and infrastructure. Train and supervise staff and organize their work (housekeepers and technical workers)
• Contribute to drawing up housing policy
• Deal with relevant external contacts, service providers and suppliers. Coordinate maintenance work carried out by external contractors
• Supervise and control expenses and service costs related to premises/maintenance
• Supervise the ordering or purchasing of necessary material and supplies, in coordination with logistics staff, and maintains related stocks
• Keep proper files and statistics.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful as Premises Manager in the Finance and Administration Work Unit, you should possess the following qualifications and experiences and have the following characteristics: 

• Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine
• University degree or advanced technical certificate or equivalent
• 2 years' experience in the same field of activity
• Fluent command of both written and spoken English and Ukrainian 
• Computer literate, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting information for decision-making purposes
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to teamwork and humanitarian principles
• Flexible, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
• Ability to work independently, as well as effectively under supervision
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to work within a diverse team and establish and maintain good working relations in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary environment
